As President and CEO of Lingotek, Rob is driving the vision of a company that is looking to change the future of translation.
Prior to being named president of Lingotek in 2008, Vandenberg served as its vice president of sales and marketing where he was a source of guidance and inspiration. Prior to Lingotek, Rob headed up several successful ventures. He was co-founder and CEO of LocalVoice.com, which was acquired by HarrisConnect in 2005. He was named vice president of sales and marketing for HarrisConnect after the acquisition. Before his work with LocalVoice.com and HarrisConnect, he was one of the first 20 U.S. employees at INTERSHOP Communications, where he helped build its worldwide clientele as a top performing sales executive. The INTERSHOP initial public offering was one of the most successful enterprise IPOs in US history boasting a $10B market cap.
Rob holds a bachelor's degree in political economics from UC Berkeley.
Jeff has more than a dozen years of experience in finance with a solid track record in managing and navigating the financial concerns of many successful companies.
New ventures are not new to Jeff. Prior to joining Lingotek, he was the CFO and later CEO of Chipper Snax, a manufacturing company he took from inception to consolidation.
Jeff worked as Corporate Controller for US Magnesium, a $150 million company, managing and directing the company's financial and cost accounting, external reporting, internal auditing, and financial policy development. He was also the company's principal interface with the external audit team for financial reporting. Additionally, he was an integral part of the development of the company's long-term plan and short-term forecasting.
Prior to US Magnesium, Jeff worked for the international accounting firm of KPMG, LLP in its audit division. While employed there, he specialized in manufacturing and high tech public companies, and was involved with the accounting for numerous entrepreneurial companies in their early development stages. In this capacity, he assisted a wide variety of clients with various filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
He is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Jeff has also lived overseas for a number of years and is fluent in Danish. He holds a B.A. in accounting and an M.B.A. from the University of Utah.
Matt Smith loves technology and creating real value through innovation and entrepreneurship. He completed his undergraduate studies at BYU, then decided to continue on, pursuing a MS and then a PhD in Computer Science. He developed a computational framework for measuring and reasoning about social capital in online communities. He is actively involved in the Utah entrepreneurial eco-system (creator of the Web Startup Group and LaunchUp) and loves helping and mentoring other tech entrepreneurs.
Prior to being named CTO of Lingotek, Matt served as a Principal Engineer where he worked on Lingotek’s first connectors and helped design Lingotek’s latest API for developers. Additionally, Matt served as the Director of Integrations where he strategically created agile development teams to build and maintain the best connectors in the industry, making Lingotek the translation network.
Calvin is a dedicated executive with over 25 years of experience managing products, sales, marketing, operations, and personnel. His experience ranges from work with a Fortune 500 company to small start-ups.
Prior to joining Lingotek in 2010, Calvin worked for Sendside Networks, a customer and investor communication platform, where he served as vice president of product management. While at Sendside, he not only lead their integrated marketing program but was also a product evangelist and worked closely with the product development team to deliver world-class software.
Prior to working with Sendside Networks, Calvin was VP, Group Program Management Director at McCann Worldgroup where he worked with clients including Microsoft, McAfee, Unisys, VeriSign, and Plantronics. Before working with McCann Worldgroup, he was the Director of Marketing at Compliance Information Systems. Earlier in his career, Calvin was President and CEO of Digital Planet, an internet service provider that was acquired by the Citadel Broadcasting Corporation in 1998.
Calvin holds a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Utah.
Kent Bridges has a broad range of experience in all facets of business development, sales strategy, and building global partnerships. Prior to joining Lingotek in 2008, Kent held Senior Executive positions in a number of Global High Tech companies including SVP Worldwide Sales at DigitalPersona, VoiceObjects, Gadzoox Networks, Zeitnet and Director of North American Sales at Novell.
Kent has a B.S. in Marketing/Finance from Brigham Young University and Post Graduate MBA studies at Seattle University.
Larry has more than 15 years of product management and marketing experience ranging from start-ups to publicly traded companies.
He started his career in media relations working for the State of Utah before serving in various senior roles at Nu Skin Enterprises, AutoPoint, Venafi and inContact. Larry first joined Lingotek in 2011, helping to rapidly grow the company by establishing its cloud-based translation management system as a market leader and overseeing the release of numerous integrations with popular enterprise business applications.
Following his four plus years at Lingotek, Larry served as VP of Product at Ghostery. During his time at Ghostery, Larry lead the launch of several new products, including a freemium subscription service for the company’s award-winning Trackermap tool; and a mobile app that quickly rose to be the top paid app for iOS. Larry’s tenure at Ghostery culminated in the complete redesign of the Ghostery browser extension, which helped grow its install base to more than 7 million active users preparatory to it being sold to Hubert Burda Media.
Larry rejoined Lingotek in 2016 and is responsible for product strategy, design and development. He holds a BA in Communications from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
Nick started his software development career more than 25 years ago and has extensive experience in customer service, operations, and software development. Since 2008, Nick has focused on driving and supporting Agility in software development and throughout the organization and has successfully introduced Agile principles and practices to several companies.
Prior to joining Lingotek in 2017, Nick held key roles at Ghostery, Experticity, inContact (now NICE inContact) and Wolters Kluwer Health (formerly Ovid Technologies).
Nick holds a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Hamilton College.
