Rob Vandenberg, President and CEO

As President and CEO of Lingotek, Rob is driving the vision of a company that is looking to change the future of translation.
Prior to being named president of Lingotek in 2008, Vandenberg served as its vice president of sales and marketing where he was a source of guidance and inspiration. Prior to Lingotek, Rob headed up several successful ventures. He was co-founder and CEO of LocalVoice.com, which was acquired by HarrisConnect in 2005. He was named vice president of sales and marketing for HarrisConnect after the acquisition. Before his work with LocalVoice.com and HarrisConnect, he was one of the first 20 U.S. employees at INTERSHOP Communications, where he helped build its worldwide clientele as a top performing sales executive. The INTERSHOP initial public offering was one of the most successful enterprise IPOs in US history boasting a $10B market cap.
Rob holds a bachelor's degree in political economics from UC Berkeley.

Jeffrey K. Labrum, Chief Financial Officer

Jeff has more than a dozen years of experience in finance with a solid track record in managing and navigating the financial concerns of many successful companies.
New ventures are not new to Jeff. Prior to joining Lingotek, he was the CFO and later CEO of Chipper Snax, a manufacturing company he took from inception to consolidation.
Jeff worked as Corporate Controller for US Magnesium, a $150 million company, managing and directing the company's financial and cost accounting, external reporting, internal auditing, and financial policy development. He was also the company's principal interface with the external audit team for financial reporting. Additionally, he was an integral part of the development of the company's long-term plan and short-term forecasting.
Prior to US Magnesium, Jeff worked for the international accounting firm of KPMG, LLP in its audit division. While employed there, he specialized in manufacturing and high tech public companies, and was involved with the accounting for numerous entrepreneurial companies in their early development stages. In this capacity, he assisted a wide variety of clients with various filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
He is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Jeff has also lived overseas for a number of years and is fluent in Danish. He holds a B.A. in accounting and an M.B.A. from the University of Utah.
Aaron S. Davis, Chief Technology Officer

Aaron has his hands deep in the technology and theories that are moving the translation industry forward including advancements to natural language processing and social production of language content. Beyond integrating and implementing the technology, he is a catalyst at Lingotek, driven by the need to push the company forward and help it break new ground in the translation technology arena.
Prior to Lingotek, Aaron worked for NTT/VERIO where he designed, developed and maintained internal ordering, provisioning, and billing systems for over 40,000 customers. He has managed computer developers and organized cross-departmental task forces to produce new applications and systems.
Aaron holds a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science and a Masters of Science in Computer Science from Brigham Young University. He wrote his master's thesis about Document Clustering in Natural Language Processing.
Yvan Hennecart, EVP of Operations

As EVP of Operations, Yvan oversees all operational aspects including account management, solution architecting, resourcing and process optimization.
A 20-year veteran in the localization industry Yvan began his career as an in-house linguist and project manager. Yvan has gained experience leading strategic planning and implementation, process improvement, cross-departmental projects and business development. Most recently, Yvan worked for SDL (LSE: SDL), a global provider of Global Information Management where he served as VP of Operations.
Yvan holds a Master of Arts in Language Interpretation and Translation from the Institut Supérieur de Traducteurs et Interprètes, Brussels, Belgium
Calvin Scharffs, VP Marketing and Product Development

Calvin is a dedicated executive with over 18 years of experience managing products, sales, marketing, operations, and personnel. His experience ranges from work with a Fortune 500 company to small start-ups.
Prior to joining Lingotek in 2010, Calvin worked for Sendside Networks, a customer and investor communication platform, where he served as vice president of product management. While at Sendside, he not only lead their integrated marketing program but was also a product evangelist and worked closely with the product development team to deliver world-class software.
Prior to working with Sendside Networks, Calvin was VP, Group Program Management Director at McCann Worldgroup where he worked with clients including Microsoft, McAfee, Unisys, VeriSign, and Plantronics. Before working with McCann Worldgroup, he was the Director of Marketing at Compliance Information Systems. Earlier in his career, Calvin was President and CEO of Digital Planet, an internet service provider that was acquired by the Citadel Broadcasting Corporation in 1998.
Calvin holds a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Utah.

Gary Sintay, VP Engineering

Gary has over 15 years of management experience working in Internet technologies and is passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience.
As Senior Director of Customer Operations for Verio, he managed a 230-person department of Linux and Windows technical support, billing, quality assurance, and training teams located in Utah and Florida. During his 13-year tenure with Verio, he and his team improved customer satisfaction and raised net promoter scores to an all-time high, while at the same time significantly reducing operational costs.
He also has an extensive engineering and technical background. Prior to Lingotek, Gary worked as Sr. Program Manager for Mozy, one of the world’s most trusted online backup services. While there, he helped design and implement service-oriented architectures such as single sign-on, order, billing, and provisioning systems, and application management systems. Using his skills in German, Gary acted as an on-site implementation resource to one of the largest mobile telephone companies in Germany, successfully helping them integrate and deploy Mozy backup services for their mobile customer base.
Gary has a degree in Computer Information Systems from Ricks College (BYU Idaho).
Kent Bridges, VP Business Development

Kent Bridges has a broad range of experience in all facets of business development, sales strategy, and building global partnerships. Prior to joining Lingotek in 2008, Kent held Senior Executive positions in a number of Global High Tech companies including SVP Worldwide Sales at DigitalPersona, VoiceObjects, Gadzoox Networks, Zeitnet and Director of North American Sales at Novell.
Kent has a B.S. in Marketing/Finance from Brigham Young University and Post Graduate MBA studies at Seattle University.
Larry Furr, VP Product Management

Larry has more than a decade of product management and product marketing experience with SMBs and start-up companies. He has a consistent track record of leading product development teams in the creation of ground-breaking and industry-leading products.
Prior to joining Lingotek, Larry was a senior product manager at inContact (NASDAQ: SAAS), the principal SaaS provider of on-demand call center software used by contact centers worldwide. His accomplishments included managing the development and launch of the company's first cloud-based suite of quality management tools as well as its cutting-edge reporting, analytics and business intelligence platform.
Larry also worked as a product manager at Venafi, the inventor of automated lifecycle management of SSL certificates and keys. Prior to that, Larry helped Mobile Productivity (now SRS) develop a product strategy that saw the start-up through a period of rapid growth as it increased its install base by more than 2,500% and grew to acquire several other companies.
Larry holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
Joseph Wood, Director of Public Sector Solutions

Joe joins Lingotek as the Director of Public Sector Solutions, focusing on the engineering challenges of the federal and commercial DC markets. He has 13 years of systems integration and test engineering experience with commercial start-ups as well as governmental agencies in the intelligence community, civil government, and Department of Defense. He is committed to helping his customers achieve their missions by providing technology that make them work not only faster, but smarter.
Prior joining Lingotek, Joe was a Senior Systems Engineer at In-Q-Tel, a strategic investment non-profit focused on accelerating technology into the intelligence community. He provided expertise in navigating the complex world of government deployments for Lingotek and his companies in his portfolio for over three years, transforming commercial software into viable solutions tailored for government use. While at In-Q-Tel, he successfully deployed multiple systems in the intelligence community, including one of the widest piloted and adopted technologies in the In-Q-Tel portfolio.
Prior to In-Q-Tel, Joe had the honor of working with service men and women on U.S. Air Force JSTARS aircraft while employed at Northrop Grumman. He logged over 120 hours of flight time to ensure the weapon system's readiness, and dedicated more than 100 times that on the ground, both on advanced development teams and in maintenance programs. He also held the position of Test Manager with Harris Corporation on the General Printing Office FDSys website and process upgrades, providing a path forward for requirements analysis and pre-emptive testing through the entire lifecycle of development.
Joe holds a Master’s of Business Administration from Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida.
